Hide mouse cursor when zooming with new kwin effects

Is there a way to hide the mouse cursor when you zoom into your desktop? I found this feature is great to zoom in on tiny embedded web videos, but then I have a cursor there in the middle of my screen and that is not quite what I want. Should I be adding this to a wishlist somewhere?

I second that question. It'd be very nice to have a shortcut that switches between hiding and visible mouse pointer.
