Spybot - Search and Dystroy

I am new to Linux and am using KDE/Ubuntu on a PC dedicated to Linux (no windows at all).

I am used to using both Spybot - Search and Dystroy and and Lavasoft AD-Aware.

I know Spybot - Search and Dystroy (www.spybot.info) has a Linux version but I do not see it listed on my ADD/REMOVE nor do I see it discussed on this forum when I do a search.

Does anyone know if it is safe to use or is it still a "work in progress:"?

Thanks for any help.

Don't take this as instruction or advice.. but few linux users use anti-spyware or anti-virus software. The nature of the system it's self makes it hard to get infected.

Search google for things like "does linux need antispyware" or stuff like that, check with the documentation or dev team of your distrobution, and then make up your own mind.
