Is anyone out there using Konqueror with Blackboard?

I'm back in night school working on a degree and the school uses BB. I've been using Konqueror to access BB with no problems... complete functionality. I've been able to take tests, browse documents... etc. But, yesterday I had to leave the computer for a bit and timed out. The message I get when I try to log back in is:

"An error occurred in the authentication module.: Error occurred while trying to lookup the current session in the database."

I cleared the cache.... No dice. The tech support folks at the school also suggested clearing BB cookies. I searched through the cookies and couldn't find any named from Blackboard, but I did erase all cookies from the school, all cookies from Thomson and Thomsonlearning. I still get the same message.

Yes... Not only did I close all instances of Konqueror, but I even rebooted several times.

I can use Firefox, but there doesn't seem to be a way to disable mouse gestures. This weekend, I took a Financial Accounting test online with Firefox after the problem with Konqueror. This stuff can be quite ponderous. After doing my calculations and moving down to the bottom of the page to submit my 65 answers, suddenly Firefox went back a page. When I forwarded to where I was, all my answers were erased. I never had this issue with Konqueror, which is why I prefer it.

Btw, I'm using SuSE 10.0 Boxed Edition with all patches and updates.
