Screensavers misssing!

I've got KDE running pretty much how I want it to, but I have a problem with the screensavers. They don't show up for regular users. Only for the root user. Anybody know why this would be? Is there a special group I have to put the user in or something? The screen savers actually DO show up on the KMenu for some reason, and will run from there, but I'd rather I could configure them from the Configure Desktop applet.

Thanks,
Miscreant

Are you using mandrake?
Mandrake had a crippled kdebase causing this error

I have the same problem and am running Mandrake 9.2 RC2. Is there a way to fix it in Mandrake?

You can check the mandrake site for a new kdebase package, or compile kdebase yourself (Konstruct is a good application to fetch and compile KDE)
