KDE won't start.

Hi,

(Mandrakelinux 10.0/2.6.3 kernel/kde version 3.2/libqt3 version 3.2.3.)

I get the following errors when I run 'startkde':

startkde: Starting up...
QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used
QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used
DCOP aborting call from 'anonymous-8168' to 'kded'
kded: ERROR: Communication problem with kded, it probably crashed.
DCOP aborting call from 'anonymous-8203' to 'knotify'
ERROR: Communication problem with knotify, it probably crashed.
startkde: Shutting down...
klauncher: Exiting on signal 1
startkde: Running shutdown scripts...
startkde: Done.

What's up? I tried uninstalling and re-installing all the KDE packages and the QT ones. I tried removing the following:

/tmp/kde-$USER
/tmp/ksocket-$USER
$HOME/.kde/socket-*
$HOME/.kde/tmp-*

and renaming my $HOME/.kde directory to something else and nothing works.

Yours,
gazza_11.
