Kmail problem

I have set up Kmail and am able to receive messages. However, when I try to send a message I get the following message: "Sending failed - could not connect to host localhost"

I am able to send using Evolution and Mozilla Mail.

There is probably a simple fix but as a newbie I haven't been able to figure it out.

Thanks for your help

RE: Kmail problem

You have to configure an outgoing mail server. There should be some kind of a manual on how to do it (what values to enter) at your ISP's homepage.
Live and let live - use the search engine.

Thanks for the quick reply. It was a simple fix! In the outgoing server set up I missed inserting the 'smtp' type. Didn't look in the right place when troubleshooting. Works great now.
