Desktop - Bluered text

I'm using Kurumin (a Brazilian flavor of Knoppix) and Kde 3.2.3. Works fine.
I noticed the icons in my desktop looks like right but the text the follow them are quite hard to read.
Is there anybody that knows anything I can do to fix it??
Thanks a lot.

Right click dersktop->Configure Desktop->Background->Advanced Options

Or something like that. There you can costumize the text color, text shadow, etc.

Your hint worked fine. I hadn't seen that button. Was too far away to my right.
Thanks a lot.
