Running as root - desktop won' work...

I don't know exactly if this feature is disabled when you logon as root in KDE, but the desktop doesn't work.(no icons on it, no right-click, etc.)

There's only de K panel and everything works fine from there but is a little annoying. I'm using MDK10 and I have this problem since 9.1 (on different Hardware, no upgrading, but installing from scratch).

Whe I Login as other user everything works fine.

Does anyone know the solution?

Thanks in advance.
