Right Click "Desktop Menu" customization

I would like to add konsole and some other app's to my "right click" desktop menu. When I access configure desktop->behaviour-> the only non-grayed options are custom menus' which isn't what I want. I only need to add a couple things. Any help would be appreciated. Using KDE 3.1.4, SuSE 9.0

Thanks,
Caz

I have the exact same question. Have you found anything yet cazper72? I assume that a .desktop file has to be edited but I can't find the right one.

You need to open the tree on the left and select the application you want. Then the right becomes un-greyed.

This was asked before here.

The short answer:
The default desktop right click menu (the one with "Create New", "Bookmarks", ..., "Logout" entries) cannot be customized. You can just associate the "right click" to one of two custom menus and edit those custom menus.
