It's the same topic I have posted in another part of the forum.
I don't understand why you have the old functionnality for this button.

I have looked in the source code, and this button cannot be configured.
Normally with KDE3.2, when you click on this button on time, all applications are iconified, when you click a second time or you open a document on the desktop all the application are deiconified.
