Question: Konqueror proxy and profiles

Hi ..

I'm running KDE 3.2, and frequently need to switch my network (office/home) along with konqueror proxy settings.

Is there a way to automate this using profiles? If not, is there a way to script it? I mean if I want to right a script to change the proxy settings in konqueror, what should I do?

Thanks,

The proxy settings are in .kde/share/config/kioslaverc

Config settings can be dependent on shell variables, see http://www.kde.org/areas/sysadmin/config_file.php#shell_expansion for details.

If you achieve a working solution I would be interested in details.

Actually an article on dot.kde.org might be of interest to a lot of people, as more and more users have portable computers and need for different settings.
