Konqueror functionality (and kcontrol)

What's up with this new version? i can do hardly anything with files in the trash. I can understand if they are trying to prevent data loss.
Also, the move dialog is screwed. I'm trying to move a directory to somewhere that has a directory of the same name and all i get is a 'rename' option, no overwrite.

Also, i feel too many people are complaining about kcontrol. What it needs is: for everything to be sorted logically, then, for a little slider to appear in the statusbar which controls how many options you see. pushed all the way to the left, users would only see noob options, and no stuff they would never use or don't know what it does. When the slider is all the way to the right they can see ALL the options (even those hidden ones you can only get to by editing the rc file, grr)
I guess this is similar to xineui, how it has the user level in the options dialog. Anyone else think this is a good idea?
