Slective using of preview icons...

I use lufs to mount remote ftp resources in my local filesystem, problem is that kde (rightly) sees this as just another folder and trys to download the files just to show previews.

I can set KDE to not use previews for certain protocols, but since I'm not using ftp in that way that won't fix this problem. Is there a way to not show previews in specific folders?

In case you're wondering, I'm mounting with lufs/ftpfs instead of just typing ftp://whatever into Knoqueror because I need applications not aware of the kde vfs to be able to read to/from the resource. (It's also better for playing mp3s direct!)
