kate c syntax rules

Hi,

just upgraded to kde 3.2. Now kate doesn't know that lines that start with // are comments. /* still is recognized as comments. I know that // isn't official c comments (it becomes official in c++).
How does one change the rules for the syntax highlighting/coloring?

cheers

Use the right highlighting in Tools > Highlighting.
You can optionally also adapt the priority of highlighting definition files in Kate's configure dialog, in the "Highlighting" page.

RE: kate c syntax rules

You could discuss this with the developers as well by submitting a bug report at http://bugs.kde.org
