Size of Signature?

Well, someone in the "Guests?" Topic had a good point:
I couldn't find ANY rule about the size of the Signature. I picked mine because 200x600 is common among the forums I visit and I thought this couldn't be wrong here.
But I see, we need a common rule.
So, what is the maximal size of the signature? I think it should be 200x600,
because it's enough room for you Ideas, and it isn't too big either
(of course, this has nothing to do with the fact that I like banners  ^^")

Why a signature at all? Is the user picture not sufficient to be individual?

In my opinion, signatures should be words (or letters) under 75 characters.

Sig should be one line and no images, this is the kde support forum, if it gets clogged with graphics it will slow things down for people on dial-up, and it's annoying to have to scroll through 3/4 of a page of useless graphics to try and find the info your looking for.

A better description would be to call this a KDE discussion forum. But I thnk the avatar is good enough for personal visual expression. Or maybe we can limit the size of images in the signature like how avatars are limited to 80 by 80.

Hmm...

I think avs should be a maximum of 100x100 and sigs should be a maximum of 500x100. This is just my opinion. The bigger it is, the more detailed it is, so the better it is... :)

Sigs should be up to 100 chars. These big graphics just slow down the boards. Never saw the point of huge graphical sigs, isn't a simple avatar good enough?
