kmymoney2 needs qt compiled for threads. Problem?

I've seen serveral references to problems with KDE if you are running qt with 'threads' compiled ON. I would like to evaluate kmymoney2 but it requires qt to support threads. What's the concensus on this issue? I value a stable/running KDE 3.2.2 over kmymoney2.

Qt for KDE3.0 or newer is usually compiled with thread support.

Compiling your program shouln't be a problem, maybe you are just missing the qt devel package or the qt-m devel package (if your distributor has split that)
