[NVIDIA RIVA TNT2] Bad graphic definition

KDE shows a normal quality..
Mozilla as well as Open office have the worst possible quality!

My config:
- Graphic card recognized under windows 2000 as a RIVA TNT2 Model 64 / Model 64 Pro
- display 1024 x 768 24 bits ou
- display 800 x 600 24 bits
Specially under Mozilla, I obtain horrible graphic quality and bad definition, colored bars in the tool bar..
I tried to update by doing:
emerge nvidia-glx
emerge nvidia-kernel
but did not succeed.
Before, as indicated in an installation guide, replaced the driver "nv" by "nvidia" in XF86Config.

I have also tried through KDE, control panel, periferals, X in order to configurate my card but always with the same result.

Is there somebody who can help me??
Marc
