loading KDE hangs in MDK9.1 server edition

whilst loading KDE it just hangs. IceWM works fine, ne1 got an answer/remedy?

Disabling Supermount for the floppy and cdrom might help.

Done in Mandrake Control Centre. Enable USER to mount them in stead.
