Doing dual monitors...

How do you typically use dual monitors with Linux / KDE? I was thinking about adding another graphics card to achieve it, but I'm not sure if that's a reasonable way. Or should I get a graphics card that's already dual-monitor capable?

RE: Doing dual monitors...

Nothing useful to add, I'm afraid. Would like to build a PC from scratch that supports dual monitors. More specifically, I would like to be able to select a different KDE virtual desktop on each screen. Kubuntu is my preferred distro. If anyone has any pointers, I'd be grateful to hear them. Many thanks.
