my ps2 mouse keep jumping around when I move it.

Update...

I just fix my problem already... instead of picking PS/2 for mouse
configuration, I choose AUTO, and whoollaaaa... it work like a charm.

BYE folks

Hi folks...

Please help me or give me suggestion on this problem. Thanks.

I just recently install FREEBSD 4.8 with KDE 3.1 on my PIII 850 MHZ
PC. Everything went smooth that include installing and configuring
XFREE86 4.3 and KDE 3.1. The only problem I have is when I am in
KDE windows, the move just stay at the upper right hand conner
and when I move the mouse, it just jumping around and click to
make other small windows appear. When I test the mouse in
Xserver configuration, the mouse move fine but when I go into
KDE 3.1 windows, this problem occur only when I move the mouse.
Please if anyone know how to fix my problem or know where to start
finding the solution to my problem, I would deeply appreciated.

Thanks

Try to remove gpm

I have the same problem in my Debian Knoppix when I upgrade to KDE 3.1.1
The solution comes when uninstall the package gpm, this program allow to use the mouse in the console.

In Debian is

>apt-get remove gpm

I suposse that in RPM's based distro is:

>rpm -e <gpm-package>.rpm
