kdeartwork package

Hello!

After installing the new KDE 3.2 I checked wether or not kdeartwork has been successfully downloaded and installed as well. Apt-get says yes, so there's no doubt about that. I need kdeartwork in order to get the Plastic theme working under KDE 3.2 (the older sources are not compileable in KDE 3.2) but I cannot find it under K > controllcentre > appearance & design [ > style].

Hope you can help :).

This might sound stupid but make sure that your kdeartwork package is from new kde 3.2. If that is so check what files are present in kdeartwork package
On my fedora system
rpm -ql kdeartwork|grep plastik gives the following output
/usr/lib/kde3/kstyle_plastik_config.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kstyle_plastik_config.so
/usr/lib/kde3/kwin3_plastik.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kwin3_plastik.so
/usr/lib/kde3/kwin_plastik_config.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kwin_plastik_config.so
/usr/lib/kde3/plugins/styles/plastik.la
/usr/lib/kde3/plugins/styles/plastik.so
/usr/share/apps/kstyle/themes/plastik.themerc
/usr/share/apps/kwin/plastik.desktop
check to see if the above files are present.
