kdclock configuration

Kdclock is a nice clock that does not seem to be supported any more or I would report this as a bug. Whenever I start the clock it starts in full screen mode. The kdclockrc file is acessable and easy to edit but my changes are overwritten the next time it starts. su root doesn't work. Logging in as root doesn't work, either. I assume it's in the binary. Does any one know how to fix this?

I also tried "kstart kdclock --geometry 120x120"; no joy there, either.
