Restart option gone from logoff menu

I am very new to KDE but when I first installed it, I had an option under my logoff menu to also restart or reboot. Now it is gone and I can't find any way to add it back in. Thanks for any suggestions!

Assuming you are using KDM as your login manager, open up a control center...

[list]Navigate to System administration -> Login manager
Click on administrator mode (unless you are running as root)
Select the sessions tab
Change allow shutdown to 'everybody'[/list:u]

I don't think this takes effect until you restart KDM
