Animated GIF's as Wallpaper?

Hi, I know this is rather trivial, but is there a way to configure KDE 3.0 or 3.1 to display the animations of animated GIF's, when they are set as wallpaper? My system (stock Redhat 8.0 and Mandrake 9.0) shows the animations in Konqueror, so I do have support for them. As a last resort, I can run xscreensaver with the Media screensaver as the root window background, but that takes a LOT of memory. Thanks!

Try going to the select 'wallpaper' window, clicking the browse option, going tot eh folder containing the GIF, and dselecting the file. Click 'OK' and it should work.

I do not think that movies are allowed as background. (That is not the same Qt class than for pictures.)

Have a nice day!
