OS X problem

I guess this is the right forum for this question.

I just installed KDE on my Powerbook that's running OS X. KDE was doing fine until I tried to set a "Theme". Now when I try to run KDE, all I get is a blank screen, and hard drive noises. I have to "command-option-a" to go back to OS X and force quit KDE right away or the computer freezes and I have to power down. Needless to say, this is reminding me of my Windows days, and I don't like it.

Any ideas of how to fix it?
