Wallpaper changer

I saw some kind of wallpaper changer on Mac OS X with nice fade effect. Does anyone know something like this for linux? I tried chbg, but this has not as nice fade as on OSX.

a way

a possible way is to write a script which loads another image (xloadimage) and add this script as your program in background.

do it like I did it with konqueror:
