Need help installing my theme...

i am quite a noob to Linux, but i do have RedHat 8 with the included KDE version. I have the superkaramba source code and the theme i woiuld like to install. if i could could get some steps of what i should do/type/click i would appreciate it greatly. thx lata~

You can install the theme, using the theme manager in kcontrol.
Browse to the compressed theme and the theme manager does the rest.
If this doesn't work, try uncompressing the file with ark , look for a readme file, and place the content in this thread for peer review.

in console, makes it more straight forward in temrs of instructions


tar -zxvf superkaramba......tar.gz

cd superkaramba.....
./configure --prefix=/usr <-- important for RH
make
su -c "make install" <-- u will need root password


then type superkaramba and a dialog box will open, and select your theme
nb u will have to extract the theme.
