Assigning a special font to a KDE application ?

Is it possible to specify a special font for a KDE application that differs from the general fonts settings ?

I'd like to have smaller characters with Kgpg so the list of available keys wouldn't take my whole 17" to be shown.

Try to start the application from the commandline using the option --font [fontname]

Use appname --help-qt to see a list of possible flags that you add to a command.
If you want to use this permanently, try editing the corresponding menu entry with kmenuedit
