question regarding taskbar hang & kdm
good day,
i'm currently using KDE3.1 under Mandrake 9.0. I have the following problems.
first, my kdm is toast. Can't enter a user at all. Have to actually kill it then launch kde 3.1 through gdm. This has started occurring after I've installed 3.1
second, occasionally i get the task bar hung. All apps are working fine but the taskbar has become unresponsive and I'm left with closing all my apps and reinitializing KDE, through the step above.
and some more info: i'm using Xinerama w/ 2 geforce 2 cards. i also removed my .kde directory when i installed 3.1 so that all the settings would be fresh and new.
I'm open to advice and suggestions! Thanks in advance,

as an added bit of info I am using Xinerama ... i think that has something to do with the task bar crash. Have only seen it on Xinerama enabled boxes
