Window Custumizing

In the Console window, you can set it up so it's opaque, but does anyone know how to do it for the normal windows?

no way so far

as far as I know, transparency under X is fake, that is when the window appears or is moved around it takes a snapshot of the desktop behind it and set that as the window background.

To have real transparency we have to wait for DirectFrameBuffer (http://www.directfb.org/) to be fully integrated and supported by kde.

Oh. I was wondering what they meant when people said the transparency is fake. No wonder moving the window around is so choppy.
"Chopsticks require a person to use 64 muscles and 30 articulate movements simultaneously, which also acts in developing brain potential."
