Konquerer web browser issues?

Hi, I am using Mandrakelinux 10.1, KDE 3.2 Konquerer is giving me issues with viewing some of web pages. In particular, I have a couple of locations I go to for work, and menus are missing. The menus appear at the top of the active browser window that the website uploads into. Is this possibly a configuration issue with Konquerer? Any other possibilities? I thought I looked through the set up, and had things the way I needed them, but I am probably wrong.

This post is only to confirm you problem. I have a nice web page, a very good linux ezine, all in Romanian language, all about Linux and how great is this operating sistem but can not see that web page ( www.linux360.ro) , it is grabbled very badly in konqueror and i love it! Only Mozilla and Firefox can render properly that page ... my konqureror version is what i get in Mandrake 10.0, kde 3.2.0 i think. Can never version do more best to this? I hope too ...

Your website looks fine on my version of Konqueror. I'm using version 3.3.2.

Sometimes web developers make the mistake in coding their webpages to be viewed with certain web browsers.

In Konqueror, go to Tools -> Change Browser Identification and try a different I.D. emulation. That may trick the web page into thinking you're using another browser and allow the page to be displayed properly.

this means that konqueror 3.3.2 and more can render my web page? This is a very good news ... Thanks for that little tips ... So ... Is time for an entire kde upgrade .... I think .... ;-). But is sure that is not an browser identification problem. Is about lack of properly render of page with "CSS absolute pixel positioning" in konqueror. This is response from author's of www.linux360.ro. If konqueror 3.3.2 can render correct that web page this is only because "CSS absolute pixel positioning" is more good, i think .... But stop talking !! Is time to get kde 3.3.2 or better and see by my eye that is all true!!! ;-)
