konqueror & geocities popup

Hi!
when I open a geocities page, a sort of popup image appears on the right side. There are 2 buttons to roll or close it, and while those 2 buttons work with other browser, they won't with Konqueror, because it leaves graphic garbage on the page.
Is it a bug or I'm missing something?
I'm using KDE 3.2.3 from Slackware 10.
