ADSL Connection Problem

I am using Suse 9.1 Pro Distro, Kde 3.2.
Problem having an internet connection (DSL) in Suse 9.1 Pro.

Previously, I got DSL connection on my Fedora Core 2 Distro working by just Activate / Deactivate the Ethernet Card on the System Network Confg.

But for Suse 9.1 Pro, I have difficulties on getting a DSL connection, tried alot of configuration in Yast Network Card, DSL, ADSL-Start, ifconfig eth0 up but failed to make a connection.

I was wondering, is it any bugs found in KDSL, I've put my username & password, plugin for pppoe was set for DSL connection, when I click the connect button a dialog window pops up " PPPD did not recognise at least one of the options file. Please look at the log file for more details.

Where is the log file located, I can't find the log file that KDSL reported to me.

Anyone who is expert or successfully connected DSL through Suse 9.1 Linux Distro give me a solution to this. Thanks!
