Kopete and Privacy

I've noticed something rather strange. I am not sure it is something that has been around all the time or is something new. I might be going crazy or maybe this is a bug. Can anyone shed light on the issue?

I used to run Yahoo IM. In it I blocked a few people (in the Privacy section) from seeing me online. I assumed that blocking was a server side function. When I switched to Kopete these people could now see me online and send me IMs. I looked around and don't see any place to enforce privacy for Yahoo.

I know this is a protocol issue since the MSN protocol handler has it. But Yahoo doesn't. Am I missing something?

Regards and thanks in advance,
Chuck Wegrzyn
