[kopete] Question about future features

[kopete] Question about future features

I've been looking around the kopete site, but I can't find any information about two features that are half-way already in it (and I'm only using ICQ right now, so if these are protocol dependant, I'm talking about ICQ):

1) Typing Notification: When the person you're chatting with starts typing, it notifies you. I know this is sorta in there, because my friends with GAIM say that GAIM notifies them when I'm typeing, so kopete must be sending that info.

2) File Transfer: Ability to send and receive files from contacts. If you right click on someones name in the contact list, "Send File" is there with a little rocket icon, but it's grayed out.

Are these being worked on, or are they just features of other protocols that are showing up in icq but not available. If they are being worked on, when (or where can i found out when) they'll be available?

The typing notification works for me, I've seen it today
(we both had the kopete from KDE 3.3 running, one system was SuSE 9.1, the other SuSE 8.2). The notification is in the status bar at the bottom.

No idea about the file transfer...
