[kopete] Is there a subgroups feature?

Hi,
I've looked a the wiki, forums and site, but couldn't seem to find anything about this.

Is it possible to use subgroups, becouse I have about 200 ppl in my contacts, it is nice to keep things organised.. I couldn't seem to drag and drop it within another group, so it would be good to at least know for sure that it is not possible.. :) I'm useing 0.8.2, but if it is in the newer version I'll just upgrade. If it's not, will it be made in the future, or not?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,
StealthEye

As far as I know it's not possible to have subgroups. I normally check the image in kopete.kde.org. This screenshot tends to show every visible feature.

I've read somewhere that the next KDE (don't remember if it's in 3.3 or 4.0) will have a beter integration with kopete(?) or at least with the contacts part. What I've read was that in kmail one could see the online status of our contacts. I supose that this type of integration would appear everywere to the point were kopete would disappear as an independent application and would become just another KDE process.

yep.

Currently you can synchronise kopete with kaddressbook, and this allows you to view the online status of contacts in most pim applications. You can even send messages by clicking on the contact ;). (assuming kopete is running and online).

It is hoped that eventually the contact list will become part of the KDE API, allowing for server based contact lists etc...

Thanks

Thanks for the info :) Too bad it isn't possible, would be a very nice feature.. I will probably just name my groups "Gr1 - SubGr 1" or something then ;)
