Because noone created the Gadu-Gadu protocol handler for Kopete. :!: :?:

It doesn't seem to exist any other impediment to that.

Gadu Gadu is supported.

Although i do not use the protocol, here is proof:

KDE3.3 will include this version, you might be able to wait for updated packages unless you needit right away.
