[kopete] incomming msgs from ICQ 4 windows clients truncated

A friend recently upgraded to ICQ 4, and now all of his incomming messages are truncated at about 100 characters. He can see my long messages, however.

I verified that this is not a local problem by creating a test account on my old ICQ Lite (Build 1301, June 2003) install on Windows 2000. From ICQ Lite, I can send very long messages to my Kopete ICQ login with no problem. So, this problem seems to be a problem with the new ICQ 4 clients.

I am running Kopete 0.8.2. (Tried to compile 0.8.4 from source, but ran into problems; I'm running Debian 'testing').
