rss/rdf aggregators

hello,

i am wondering what people here are using for a rss/rdf aggregator. i have read up on many; Liferea, Pears, aKregator, RSSowl, straw, etc. but due to an overwhelming amount of failed dependencies, could only get Liferea installed. to my further dismay, it crashes EVERY time i try to use it. i tried using urpmi to install some feed readers, but i continually got the result of "no such package found". i just was wondering if anyone got any of the aggregators working on Mdk 9.1 (my current install) and which ones, and how they are working out for you.

TIA,
phlux

I like akregator, but then again, I'm biased since I'm one of the main developers of it :-).. it's still in beta though (it's only been around for two months), so stability might be an issue.

I develop it in mandrake 10.0, so I'm not sure why it is broken for you in mandrake 9.1. Do you have kde 3.2?

hello smt,

thanks for responding. i like the looks of aKregator, keep up the good work. no, i am using KDE 3.1, and i know that's part of my dependency problem, but i did try Mdk 10, and it didn't like my system for some reason. do you know of any Mdk 9.1 binaries? i'd be happy to use aKregator if i could get it ihnstalled.

thanks
