Why XML-Parsing-error in [Kopete] of KDE3.2.1?

I don't understand why I get so many XML-Parsing-errors in Kopete of KDE3.2.1. I use the GPG-encryption module and the messages (40% of all) show only the XML-Parsing-Error but in the History of the History-Module the message can be decrypted fine.

I suppose there no developer is really testing the encryption module with a new kopete-version. There is a bug that dosn't occur in the new Kopete without encryption and doesn't occur in the old Kopete of KDE3.1.4 with encryption.

The problem depends on the fact that the other side sends the messages with an local coding different from yours.
This often happens to Fedora or Suse 9.1 users, who have a utf8 coding.

You can open the user-information for each contact which has this problem, and change the coding too iso8859-1, for example.
