[Kopete] Cleaning out the buddy list.

Whenever I remove a contact from my list it comes right back the next time I log on.

Is there a way for kopete to remove the contact from whatever version of the buddy list that it reads from (I assume its on the server)?

If there is in fact no way to remove a contact then why is there even the option?
