Opening saved conversations

I can't open saved conversations. Kopete saves it in an .xml format, though when i open it, i see only the rough code, and that's a bit hard reading! I use kopete 0.8 on KDE 3.2.2. Any solutions? tnx!
PS I saved conversations before with an earlier version of kopete and have no problem opening them. :)

Yes i know, but i saved the conversation directly from the conversation window(conversation->save; it's an .xml file now) before and i did not have the history plugin installed, so i can't view it that way either. When opening the xml file it gets wrong interepreted and i only see the rough code, with the conversation text in between, which is hard to re-read the conversation this way.
I Just see it the way you look at the source of an html file, you know what i mean?
