[Kopete] New MSN protocol???

Hey, Did MSN change there protocol again? I can't log on to MSN in Kopete, and when I reboot to Windows MSN says there is a new version of MSN.

This is my frist post.

Oh and BTW Kopete rocks! Thanks for making it and maintaining it.

Not as far as I know... I'm not having problems, except sometimes which is to do with clogging on the network.

Is this why I get disconnected from the MSN network sometimes?

The MSN connection was unexpectedly lost

Or something like that..

same problem

I also had this problem: Kopete connected to MSN yesterday fine, although recently I have experienced random disconnections. Today, it won't connect at all. Once it got to the stage of showing my online contacts, but immediately disconnected, and I know that MSNP10 is now around (just checked MSNP docs). Is Kopete MSNP10 compatible yet?

No MSN :(

I have just done the upgrade from Mandrake 9.2 to 10CE and have no found that the msn plugin will not connect. I have Kopete 0.8.0. Is there a later plugin that I should have? I have been trying for about a week now, deleting msn accounts, re-setting them back up, going through the configs and talking to ppl on #kopete on irc.

Now confufused, but still love the program :)

I am experiencing the disconnects as well. I just upgraded to 0.8.0 to see if there was a difference. I decided to check here before building 0.8.1.

I know Hotwayd (Hotmail POP3 gateway) has been experiencing problems for just over a week with the authenication. I wonder if it is like LiveJournal and user accounts are spread over clusters and those of us affected are on newly upgraded clusters. have yet to try to rebuild hotwayd with the auth set to plain. It is supposedly a fix.
