All works great exept MSN???

Hi Every one
All works great exept MSN???

I've been having trouble connecting to MSN with kopete (blinking and disconnecting)??? So I checked the FAQ's, I'm supposed to delete two files contactlist.xml and a another config file, but I have neither in my /usr/share/apps/kopete nore system ???
I checked the posts but haven't found the problem?? am I the only .... in this situation?
I'd be gratefull if anybody has an idea

Thanx

Tib

Because they are your config files, they are in your home dir. look under $HOME/.kde/share/ for them.

MSN???

Thanx for the answer,
so I tried removing the files as described in the faq's, which did in fact remove all my old accounts, and then tried to only connect my hotmail account... but the butterfly keeps flying(blinking) and never stops, apart to say the connection has been lost???? Just like before

again I tried the other systems(yahoo, icq, jabber) and they work fine.

?????

Possibly a restriction caused by something such as a firewall or a router?

Are your MSN id and password capitalised correctly? This can lead to authentication problems.
