[Kopete] Kopete shows ICQ number by default??

Hi,

I got a problem with Kopete: everytime I create my profile (which is fairly often due to the fact that I use multiple computers and keep renewing my installs) most of my ICQ contacts have only their ICQ number showing. When I request the user info from the server I see the name of the person in the contact list.
However, the ICQ server has a limit on the number of user lookups you can perform so after a few buddies the server tells me to stuff it and wait a while before I can continue.
But why doesn't Kopete load the nicknames when it imports the contact list from the server?? I have this problem on all my computers and by now all of em are running the latest stable release (0.8.1 if I'm not mistaken).
Is there a way to force Kopete to load all the nicknames at once? Because this is getting pretty annoying...

Thanks,
Cyberwizzard

Once you've fetched the contact name, go to the contact's Properties and disable 'Use the name given by the server'.

As you say, there is a limit on the number of user lookups you can do; if we did this automatically we'd get you rate-limited automatically. We are improving the ICQ code but we don't have many developers so progress is slow.
