KMail will not start.

I recently installed KDE on Mac OS X (10.2.8) under FreeBSDs XDarwin. I installed the kde-bundle using Fink Commander. Everything went perfect and KDE Window works perfect. All programs and software to my knowledge works perfect. The only problem I am having is when I start KMail, it initializes like it's trying to open, then I get a window that tells me "KDEinit could not start KMail." I have searched for an answer to my problem to no avail. I tried using Fink Commander to redownload and install KMail. Fink Commander tells me that KMail is the most up to date and installed. Would love to use this program to see what it can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email address is dalemcgraw@mac.com. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Dale

Hi,

Did you try strting kmail from console - and see what errors you get?
I am having the same problem.
And it says that is cant find libkdenetwrok2.so - and thats true... there is none.
My question is, in the rpm distros of KDE3.2.2, (I am running SUSE9.0 - KDE3.2.2),
there is no kdenetwrok-mail.XXX....rpm - why?
How do I get then my kmail to work under 3.2.2?

Thanks in advace
Dani.
