[KOPETE] Properly working file transfer feature

Hello,

Sorry, maybe this question is asked a couple of hundred times allready, but I really want to know if there are any plans on implementing a descent file transfer mechanism in Kopete 0.8.1 and above because this is, according to my humble opinion, the only true lack in the program.

I tried a lot of different instant messengers on GNU/Linux and only dMSN seems to be the one that 'has it all', so to say, but only in terms of features, not in looks. Gaim also is a swell client, but it too lacks a file transfer mechanism and doesn't integrate into KDE that nicely as Kopete does

So, when is it going to happen and, if not, why is it so darn low on the priority list.

Thanks in advance for clearing things up :D,

Frans

I see you're just talking about MSN file transfers here.

When: not sure - one of our developers had a look and the new HTTP based MSN protocol is very complex.

Why so low: we don't have enough developertime. Sorry.
