cant find these utilities

upgraded my redhat 9.0 to kde 3.2.1. It doesn't have any of the menu entries to modify my firewall (high level, medium level, checkmark ssh, etc..), my package management, add/remove users, install a new network adapator (the gui utility where i can put a checkmark in eth0, or eth1, etc..). I can't find any of this anymore. Please help so I can get this stuff back. Thanks.

Thats because all those menu items are redhat gui tools and not part of kde, when you installed redhat put those menu items in there for you, but when you upgraded to kde 3.2.1 you now have the standard kde configuration and not the redhat configuration.

As for the utilities you are looking for, they are 'redhat-config-firewall', 'up2date', and 'redhat-config-network' from the command line.

If you can still start 3.1, right click the K menu, click Menu Editor, and copy info about the menu items you want into a text file. Then edit your 3.2 K menu, and insert the same menu items.

The same can be done for desktop icons, etc.
