[Kopete] will run as root, but not as normal user

Hi. I've installed Kopete 0.80, but when I run it as a normal user, it comes up with a blank configuration window, and I can't do anything with it. If I run it as root, all works fine. Running via commandline, there is no output as a normal user, but running it as root produces this....

[root@jnichel .kde]# kopete
kbuildsycoca running...

I would think that this is a permissions problem, but I can't find it.

Belay the last post. I found the problem. I set KDEDIRS, and su -'ed for root, but I didn't reload my profile for the normal user. Doh!
