I have multiple Yahoo profile id's ???

...and have not found anything on Kopete support for protocol multiple id's as IM itself does. Tried adding and alternate ID as an account but it just logs out the first for same protocol. Any ideas?

If I understand you correctly, you have two yahoo accounts and want to run them both. All you do is add another yahoo account profile seperately and everything should work fine.

to clarify...

...for those who do not use it, YM seems to be unique in that is allows multiple profiles(inherant id's) per account and manage them jointly. When 'messaging', you are then able to select from your 'list' of id's. Of course I could create more accounts but the id's would be lost anyway, and why juggle all those email accounts, etc.

Actually, i think that feature is just in the way y! im client manages your accounts. I dont think kopete manages them in this manner since it was designed to emulate the icq style.
